Well, if Ken Booth is right you can set focus on this thing and that test video looks promising. Need to see some more tests from different sources. It makes sense that Casey Neistat had something on the lens or focus set incorrectly because that IQ was way too mushy.

The last part part of the above video has some movement or distortion on the right side. A definite motion change due to movement even though the pan was very slow.
The quality sharpness does look better if it wasn't for the distortion.

The youtube looks better ... didn't know you could focus that camera~
You can focus the Z3 (I have one, but I haven't tested it in the wild yet) ... apparently there is no smooth auto, and no lock, which is annoying (every time you zoom, it refocuses (hunts) when you stop zoom in or out, which of course ruins shots)
Thanks for posting the link ... downloading now.

It looks good. As good as any other video from this type of camera I've seen. Which is to say, I sure wish it was better, but at least it's not WORSE than the typical P3/4 Gopro, et al ... hard to say because of only one shot (be nice to see some forward motion past trees, etc) but I see the typical smudges in the bushes, can't read the writing on the truck in the lower left, etc, and looks like squished dog poo on a 5K monitor at 200%(typical of the tiny sensor tiny lens, tiny processor compression), but I'd say quite acceptable for the price and the form factor, and I don't see any horrid distortion. Would be foolish not to get one. Might be a fool to say so, but I'll be ordering as soon as I get paid.

DJI Mavik with the additional bundle, it's the size and portability that sold me so I will travel with it. From some research the soft footage could be from not realizing focus was on manual, also filming through the camera plastic bubble softens the image, you can remove it for regular filming, I have seen clear and white lens bubbles not sure what ships. The plastic lens bubble is recommended for sport mode flying to achieve top speed.
