Labelling your music for P.R.O's?

Hi there everyone hope you're all well?

I'm new to Pond5 and I'm just wondering how does one label their music when it comes to having it identified by their P.R.O's? I don't see the option to add particular number's / codes for the P.R.O. to identify unless there's something I'm missing?

As for the title of the song, if it's something like "Dramatic Orchestral Song with Uplifting Chorus", does the purchaser have to put that in their cue sheet?

How does everyone else attack this in general?

Anyway, forgive me as like I'm say I'm still quite new to this side of things!

Thanks,

Aleks

Isn't the question about what the purchaser uses as the title when completing their cue sheet? If they write "Dramatic Orchestral Song with Uplifting Chorus" is that the title the writer needs to provide to their PRO? Or is there some other way of identifying the music?

Also, a side note, does anyone know how the downloaded audio file is named? If my track titled "Dramatic Orchestral Song with Uplifting Chorus" is a file called "demo456.wav" is that what the purchaser receives?

Thanks.

I don't know how your PRO works but STIM as I'm with works like this. If they see my IPI and name on a cue sheet they collect for my acount. If the title ain't registered it will show up as a non registered file on STIM which I will have to register.

Thanks for your reply Lindsjo.

The cuesheet example you linked to doesn't have a field for IPI, so I guess your PRO will match by name alone?

When this has happened, how does the name of the unregistered work show up? Is it "Dramatic Orchestral Song with Uplifting Chorus" or something else?

lets say I've registered a track at my PRO: Dramatic orchestral
I change it here on Pond5 to "Dramatic Orchestral Song with Uplifting Chorus"
the track is broadcasting "Dramatic Orchestral Song with Uplifting Chorus"
My Pro is recognising my name on the cue sheet and think that it's me who has written the track, since my name and PRO is right.
I have a field at STIM with unregistered tracks and "Dramatic Orchestral Song with Uplifting Chorus" will show up when STIM have recognised me on the cue sheet.
After that I register the track.

On the back of this - I'm based in the UK and new to the whole 'music library' industry. I don't currently have any ISRC codes assigned to my tracks and therefore no metadata attached to my audio files. Will this be an issue? Is it advisable to get ISRC codes and attached them as metadata before supplying them to a library?

I'm curious to see how other people approach uploading their music to libraries and what steps you all take to ensure you get the royalties you are entitled to.

Thanks for your time everyone.

ISRC codes has nothing to do with copyright or PRO. They're used when you release an album.

What about other organizations?
I am a member of the composers union in my country.
All my songs are registered at them.
How can I link the song from here to the song I registered to my country organization?
