I've never been a fan of Adobe's exporting tools. I'm a PC CS6 user. I gave up trying to get polished .h264 directly out of any Adobe products. Instead I use the Quicktime PNG format as an interim post processing export format, which is a lossless codec that doesn't recompress your video. Then I open that in QT Pro and export a 100% .h264. It looks just as clean as my source camera footage.

Those of you PC users who can't play back high def .h264 in real-time, you may just need a better viewer. Most PC viewers stink with high res video. Download the free "Media Player Classic - Home Cinema" player, which rocks for playback. I can play 4k footage on my laptop with it. It can be found here:

I use both. MPC is great and fast, but has many codec problems, that's why in some cases I rather run VLC.
