Rejected Track - any feedback?

Hi,

I've recently started trying to produce Royalty Free tracks. My first efforts in Pond 5 have been rejected.

I can identify plenty of flaws in this track - after I uploaded it I listened back to it in the car for the thousandth time and instantly felt it would be rejected. In addition to a lack of originality in terms of composition, I rushed the mastering and it's much too harsh sounding.

It's pretty clear what I was going for - the corporate feelgood track...it's not my comfort zone.

If anyone has the time or inclination, I'd appreciate constructive criticism on this track:

Curator works in mysterious ways)
As for me, that's nice music. But mix sounds unfinished. Some instruments are out of balance (strange loud pad).
I think that weak production is the reason. Musical idea of the song is nice. It's in style.

I think that there are too much tracks in this "corporate" style.
Do not try to do like others, try to add some of yourself in your tracks ;)

Thank you both for taking the time to listen and comment.

The rejection notice said 'Unfortunately we don't feel these tracks are the right fit for Pond5 at this time' which I'm sure is a stock response.

I'll have another go at mixing the track differently and try it again in the future.

I think I'll focus my attention on producing more original tracks and leave the corporate pop genre to see how that works out.
