Week 15: Teaching / Learning

Hey Jake ... the wind blown ya away yet?

I hope everyone is safe that is down south. Bad weather sucks/blows. I need to get out and get myself into gear. I have been busy with school (going back for my mba) and working lots.

Not yet. Gusts about 64 mph, sustained wind at about 34 or so but the eye is still 65 miles offshore. We'll get the worst about 4 or 5am.

Yeah, fun. It's at 110mph right now. But that will be to the west of me.
Can't wait to go out tomorrow to get some footage of the carnage.
We're in a curfew until 10:00am tomorrow. Can you believe they already arrested 4 people for looting. There isn't anything lower then someone stealing from you at a time like this.
I would like to take my 44 mag and talk to them sternly....

Looters should be shot without question or warning. They are the lowest level of earth scum. There should be a fool-proof law that allows deadly force against them. Oh ya, Texas has the castle law, it's ok to shoot anyone who threatens a person or you feel property is in danger. Yup, need to publicize that law strongly right before evacuations. It would sure save money putting these scum in jail.

Hey guys, Yes, I'm living in the stone age.
I'm at my office for a minute using a confiscated generator that we use to test the military stuff we build here.
I'm only on for a second to tell you guys I'm alive and well.
I did get some video but not as much as I had hoped since I don't have the press pass to get many places.

LOL, I was in a hurry when I typed that. It wasn't like I grabed it from my neighbor.
It was a generator we use in our plant to test some of the water purifiers that are used in the field. I just took it from the assembly area.
