Portfolio with over 2500 items and no sales

We are uploading our footage to Pond5 for more than a year and I have to ask if you guys know what can be the problem with our portfolio.

We have only 1 or no any sales per month. When we have 2, that's a celebration! :)

What can be the problem?

@Videophilia: If I have two sales a month I do the Michael Jackson moon walk, when I have 3 I phone the local newspaper. 😂

Serious note, your portfolio is absolutely stunning and on the same level as some of the big boys on here. I sincerely hope things turn around for you soon. Thousands of clips uploaded each day, millions online, it's like the lottery, you got to be in it to win it, good luck!

Try to take a price increase

Agree to price increase. Your prices are low. $37 nets you about $18. What were your costs?
I think a low price indicates you do not value your work and therefore can be dismissed. Also, a lot are very similar so I would not expect multiple sales. But we all have the same concerns. Not enough sales to justify the cost of production. Just keep it up.

I like the Arri Alexa look!! Minimum HD price should be $79. I've seen no difference in number of sales in 4k at $119 or $199. At your price, buyers may not think it's shot on Arri Alexa. I don't think anamorphic look has much demand in stock video.

P5 just announced over 30 Million clips. No surprise. Pricing is the key. Do not expect lower priced volume to make up for higher fair pricing. Volume works for and agency with millions, individuals the bottom-line per sale is more important than number of sales.

As Fred Eaglesmith wrote years ago for farmers:

If they want what difference will a few more $$ make.

Actually POND5 change all our prices recently and put it this low. Some of the clips stayed with higher prices, but all of our new clips they changed to much lower prices. I have to contact support and see what was the purpose for it.
