GPP sales of 4k clip for $7.69. WTF is this?

With most of my video prices at 99 dollars I am exclusive, and I won’t be accepting this level of commission , the first commission of this level and I will pull my work, basically you can have a multi billion pound tv company buying work for a tiny fraction of what it should be, no incentive to continue working

why set your price at 99$ when standard industry price is 179/79??you already cut yourself then pond 5 does the rest...

I have hd clips only not 4k which is why they are set at 99

"As an EXCLUSIVE Pond5 contributor, all footage content you upload is only available on the Pond5 marketplace." That sounds good but "marketplace" now seems to mean P5 and all its contributing partners. It would be a world of difference if it said "...on Pond5" but it doesn't. Did the previous contributor agreement just say "Pond5"?

===================================================================================================

This is what is called Legalese (Deception through loopholes in the language used for the benefit of the company only) written by unethical lawyers of unethical companies. Less contributors would agree to it if it read "POND5 and other partners" (which is pretty much anyone else).

So yes what then is the point to becoming exclusive?

You know what this looks like? ...An agenda to put independent artists out of business. I've experienced this with other stock agencies and POD sites so I can see this pattern happening across the board of all tech companies especially with the rise and popularity of free stock sites. There are literally no ethical stock agencies.

I'm open to creating/joining an ethical artist cooperative stock agency site with fair pricing to attract ethical companies and businesses. Any suggestions email me...

P5's Contributor Agreement states:

3. Pricing and Your Share of Net License Revenue.
a. You have the option to set the price of your Content. However,
i. we will have sole discretion to adjust the price of any Content to maximize your overall revenue performance or comply with our minimum pricing guidelines;

Nothing in Section 4 describing the Video Exclusive Program mentions not adjusting pricing as described in Sec. 3.

Am I missing something in my reading of the Contributor Agreement?

Also it might not be out of the realm of possibility that Adobe Stock's recent implementation of it's subscription plan that seemed to include P5 Exclusive video was a possible factor in the termination of P5 video being on AS?

"However", man that's lawyerese for sure. "You have the option to set the price of your Content". That should be rewritten to say "You can think you have the option of setting your own price, good luck with that"
