Newbie Question - Uploading

I uploaded a couple of photos about a week ago and they appeared on my upload page in less than 10 minutes.

So, I decided to upload about 20 photos in one go. That was five days ago - and they still haven't appeared on my uploads page.

Was I just lucky the first time or unlucky with the second batch?

I'm assuming the upload processing is all automated - so....

How long does it take to usually see stuff on your uploads page ready for key wording?

and should I try again with the second batch - but this time do them one by one?

is ftp-ing them faster/better?

I uploaded my first batch this morning but they haven't shown up in the uploads section yet.

Maybe they just don't like foxes?

I've noticed uploading via HTTP here is a crap shoot. I'd use FTP in the future.

Re-upload them via FTP.

You can check which FTP site is quietest at https://www.pond5.com/index.php?page=ftp_status

So, I tried FTPing the files and they appeared in about 5 minutes.

I went to upload my pics via FTP but they were already showing up there in the Pond5 server.
I haven't re-uploaded them as they will end up there twice...

Any ideas?
