I don't understand p5's pricing system?

So, I'm new here. Whenever I upload my music, there's the option to " Set My Own Price ". I set a price that I find pretty competitive ( judging by the other contributor's prices ), but for some reason my prices got pulled wayyyyy down after upload. For example, for Track A, I set $15 in the edits page. When I uploaded it, it became $6. This happened to all of my uploads. What am I not understanding here, can anyone share their thoughts? Thanks.

Hi Abraham. i do not upload music but It could be for couple reasons like "match price", discounts, price adjustment. You can find these in Contributor agreement (section 3. Pricing and Your Share of Net License Revenue). Anyway you should contact support to get a better clear answer - they are fast in response. Cheers!

its localized price, i just checked your profile with and without vpn. pond5 and other stock sites adjust prices for lower income countries. so if someone from europe or usa buy your assets they will pay 15 usd but from turkey or indonesia they gonna pay 6 usd
