I've been watching these guys for a while - very interested, not ready to take the plunge, but after finally seeing one in person, I'm starting to think they might be pretty cool, and after the mods these DSLRPros guys do to them, might be solid enough to expect a reasonable rate of success in shots. Then in today's newsletter they report that they can survive a dunking! How cool is that? This is a game-changer, possibly. Could this treatment be done to our cameras (You listening EarthUncutTv?) so we can shoot in horrid weather with impunity? Worth watching the vids on this page:

Shout out for these guys, they are really onto something here.
I am just curious, is this protection permanent or you would have to coat it periodically ?
