What do you guys think about the SONY FDR-AX1?
In terms of its price, $4,500, is there a better choice out there for a 4K camera, or should I buy this one?

It depends on how much you plan on selling those 4K clips for. Will you continue devaluing the work of everyone in this industry like you do with your HD clips you sell for 10 freaking bucks? Do you really expect honest help from anyone here after all the bizarre rants and offensive posts you've made? I've stayed out of this BS thus far, but seriously, are you f-ing serious? I'm guessing the average opinion is to please, for the love of God, please stay the hell away from 4K as long as possible so we can feed our families.
The insane part is, all anyone has ever done is suggest you raise your prices, which would make you SO MUCH MORE MONEY YOU WOULD PROBABLY CRAP YOUR PANTS. Why anyone cares is beyond me, except the fact that you are devaluing our work as a whole. Do what you want man, but seriously, don't expect legitimate help from anyone here, which is a shame, because there's a lot of really smart people making real money trying their damnedest to reason with you. Like talking to a brick wall.

Tiberio, with your huge budget you can buy all the available 4K cameras and evaluate them and make a recommendation for others.

Tiberio, before you can buy the Sony, you have to sell 900 of you HD clips. I doubt if you have made that since the inception of your account, over two years ago.

If you buy the SONY FDR-AX1 you may encounter a lot of "restrictions" because you will look as a tv news videographer plus you cannot carry it with you all the time. Security guards will come after you and ask what are you doing. Go GH4 or AX100 and look like a tourist.
