Your Payout Preferences

Hello,

I am interested to find out other authors payout preferences. I currently use PayPal, however I have a few issues with it, and until now it has been an afterthought with regards to which company I use to get paid.

1. I live in the UK so I need to transfer USD into GBP.

2. PayPal says they use the most up-to-date exchange rate but I have checked the rates at the time of the transaction and they have been at around 2% lower from PayPal than what they were worldwide, I understand there is a slight delay in a withdrawal and the market changes all the time but during the time the exchange rate did not drop by 2%.

3. I am reading a lot about hidden fees online about PayPal when regarding currency conversion which they state as being 'free' so I am interested to know if you guys have had similar issues.

Let me know your thoughts? I'd love to get an insight from how you guys get paid and why, like I said it was an afterthought until now for me.

I have not tried the other options for a while, but trust me, they all charge non U$D transactions at least 2%, this way or another.
Can you accept a check from P5? Can you open an account in U$D in American bank in your own state?
If you find a solution other than the above, please let us know.

The exchange rate by PayPal is far off any up 2 date :[ I think it's their (PayPal's) biggest income!

Moneybookers!

Make sure you open an US dollar account, when not they will exchange your dollar to Pound. Then, You can transfer USD from MB to your England bank account (Multi currency). Your bank perhaps (?) charge less to convert USD to pounds!!
