I am still researching cameras and I wanted to know if any of you have worked with this camera. It sounds pretty good for the price point but I was concerned with the AVCHD codec. Any input you guys can give would be appreciated.

I think the Panasonic looks like a good camera, especially as it is CCD. I have heard it is light in weight also.
jjneff That is very nice footage, was the motion a dolly or steadicam?

Thanks friends, I used a Glide Track Pro for the shots. I also shoot in CineD and color grade with Magic Bullet.

OK John, I see you're holding out.
Do you use Magic Bullet Looks or quick looks?
I'm thinking about getting quick looks, just because of the price.
I downloaded the trial and like the way it makes the video look.

I use Magic Bullet Looks, It is easy to use and very powerful. I use the Looks Builder that comes with it as a photo editor and all the photos I have submitted using it has been accepted. A lot easier than Photoshop but not quite as powerful.

I was wondering about the looks builder. I see now that its for editing photos.
Thanks for the headsup!
