Didn't use it as much as I thought so it's up for sale.

Sorry I missed it, was a good deal.

Was it the lack of frame rates that you did not like?
JHDT_Productions 4 Jun 2011 23:01
No, I only shoot 30p anyway.
Mostly it was the lack of any focus aid. Zebra strips or at the very least some way to enlarge the picture like the DSLR's have would help.
Also, the compression was worse than DSLR's so that made some bad video for stock.
If I were only doing indie films or something like that it would be a great camera.

I was mildly infatuated with the idea of this camera. Your comment concerning the nasty compression has sealed it's fate. A no go. Shame to create an animal like that - large sensor, prime lens capable - and cripple it with AVCHD. I think well see other cameras like it but better soon. Hope so. Anything like this camera but better in other brands?

Variable frame rates in 24P, 30P and 25P in1080, up to 60P or 50p dependent on 60Hz or 50Hz mode
Uncompressed 4:2:2, 8 Bit HD-SDI and HDMI output
JHDT_Productions 14 Jun 2011 13:39
true, But it's uncompressed from the HDMI port. You would have to use an external recording device I would guess.
jason 14 Jun 2011 13:41
Well tbmpvideo won't buy it because it has a AVCHD compression rate. Uncompressed 4:2:0 8-bit 24mgps.

$4900, the base price for the camera without case, lens, etc... I am no expert in compression formats. HDV has become unacceptable at iStock - who knows why - most of my shots get rejected there for compression artifacts. I have heard so many complaints concerning the AVCHD format from other contributors there. 4:2:0 sounds good, but... All I can do is heed the warnings of the more informed.
