Portable harddrive

Hello all! I've recently had a portable hard drive infuriatingly unplugged mid data transit, is there anyway to recover what was lost? Any help would be massively appreciated!

I recovered a broken file with Pandora Recovery once. It was compromised due to camera battery failure. I was able to recover the best part.
