8 bit vs 10 bit and color space

I know that the overall quality of the content and the needs of a buyer are the most deciding factor in what gets purchased. I am curious however if original video footage is shot at 10 bit with 422 color space and an identical piece is 8 bit 420 - will the 10 bit likely get more sales?

I harass Pond5 staff with this question probably on a quarterly basis, and the answer is fairly consistent: Basically, no. Don't worry about it.
(What I am usually asking is whether uploading footage as h.264 matters, when I keep the nice ProResHQ files all to myself due to internet bandwidth constraints) and especially now as I am lately starting with Inspire 2 Cinema DNG files, and by the time it becomes ProRes and h.264 I can really see how it might not be as good as if they were able to get the originals! (So I make the best h.264 I can, and send in the ProResHQ to update the files later via HDD) But according to the answers I get, the codec or bit rate or color space is nowhere near as important as the CONTENT, as you already know.

That said, if you can upload 422, then do.

Remember that most stock clips when used only for a couple seconds and are fill in segments of a tv show, advertisement or movie. Not visible long enough to tell the difference on a TV or movie screen.
