Feedback Please!!

I've been on Pond5 now for about 3 years. I had about 20 songs on here for the first year that were all in one genre, but now I have about 90 in various genres. I have not made very many sales. Maybe around 5 - 6 in total! I'm just wondering if my work is subpar or if I'm on the right track and just need to keep uploading. If anyone has time to listen to some of my tracks and give meaningful feedback it would be very much appreciated!

Sincerely,

Hello there!

I've listened through the list a bit.

As for moods - plenty of tracks have "mainstream" feel (or how you call it) - which is not a bad thing if you aiming for selling.

Post-pro: need improvement, especially on 'electronic' tracks where high ammount of compression involved.
It's a big thing for two words but in general - flatness of sound can be cured by manipulating of spaces (reverbs, using guitar amps on synths etc..).

Also, don't go with default sound of instrument - i think one should deform it until it fit desired picture (a bigger picture in your head).

Can't see your tags on tracks - maybe this is the reason why you have not much sales. For example, I have almost fifty tags on each track on P5. Create a xls book with common tags and while listening your newly created track - check 'right' ones.
After finishing one round of tagging don't forget to save it for further use with other music licensing services.

Thank you Trans_OM! I appreciate you taking the time to listen to some of my songs and providing constructive feedback. That's weird about the tags not being visible. I generally have between 30 - 50 tags on each of my tracks. I'll double check to see that they are showing up.

In my opinon production sounds rather like good home studio not for high comercial usable.
Mayby reverb type effects? or other guitar effects. Music is ok.

best regards :)
