Accident scene footage

I got a few minutes of video from the scene of a auto accident. One car was on fire, there was an injured man lying on the ground, firemen, cops, paramedics... etc.

The question is: Can it be considered editorial, I.E. news... and is a release still necessary?

You don't need a release for that clip, not on Pond5 at least - it would be sold as editorial and will probably sell very well here! Best of Luck!

Editorial, unless you can pull some shots where there is no recognizable people or product (i.e car names, logos, etc.)

I'll try to edit around faces etc...

For P5 I would not worry about editing without logos or faces. It's editorial and editorial sells very good here at P5. The other stock video agencies are losing an incredible amount of money by not allowing editorial unless it's newsworthy. They have no clue on what is newsworthy. If you can do edits with and without the better possibilities. Good luck.
