If you have the budget go for the newer Panasonic HDC-TM900.
Very good value for the money. Since I have it I rarely use my huge HVX200

You use either the contour HD or GO PRO 2 both are under $400.00 USD. Don't know if P5 will except footage from the contour HD so you would have ask them.

Then the TM900 is the right one for you. It has the best stabilizer and best image quality, it's tapeless and can also 1080/50p!!!

I would really search for an old used CCD HD Camera (if it exist) for Hexacopter work to eliminate the rolling shutter effect. I you go CMOS I would look for the one with the best built in lens stabilizing system....but you have much more experience than me.
