Scientifically accurate 4K CGI visualisations of real solar and lunar eclipses. Sun, Earth and Moon are positioned from JPL ephemeris data at true scale and separation for the actual date and time of each event, so every umbra and penumbra is cast by real geometry rather than painted on, and each shadow follows its real ground track at its real rate. Solar eclipses include the total eclipse of 12 August 2026, which arcs over the Arctic before reaching Greenland, Iceland and northern Spain, and the eclipse of 2 August 2027, whose path runs from southern Spain and Morocco across Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Egypt to the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Somalia, with 6 minutes 22 seconds of totality over Luxor — the longest until 2114. Each event is offered from more than one vantage point. Star fields are aligned to true J2000 coordinates. Built for news, science programming, documentary and explainer work
