Post Your rejected Photo that have sold elsewhere

So if something is good enough and have already sold at other much higher priced agencies but are rejected for low quality and unlikely to sell here at P5 post them here.

I'm confused at this thread Don.
You want to post things that are low quality and unlikely to sell on Pond5?
I'm sure I'm misreading your post but I think I'll stay away from this one.

just frustrated. Rejected because it was poor quality and unlikely to sell. It sold at another international agency in June for a much higher price, and that agency has over 32 million photos to compete with.
.
There needs to be a easy and fair way to protest or ask for a review by a different curator so footage / photos are not downgraded in retribution.
.
So yes Jake, If P5 thinks it's poor quality and rejected but has sold at other agencies might as well show what subject matter is available ;).

OK, got ya :)

This is another subject like selling price that stirs up controversy except it's more personal when you know you've been wronged, so to speak. Life is much easier if you post another photo and keep moving. Curators have opinions, they may even vote for the wrong person to be president when I will tell them if they ask. This is not worth the time.

Why the hell is this in the general section?
wideweb 25 Sep 2012 11:20
Sold 80 times elsewhere. Image rejected because it was "Over processed". No complaints from buyers.

Cannot find item [11496465]!

I concur with Rekindlephoto and wideweb!! It appears that P5 does not want any processed photos, which makes NO sence to me whatsoever!! All of my processed artistic photos have been rejected as "poor quality" when in fact they have been used in many projects (print and video) with great success. So the rejection of these photos is illogical, but I do take comfort in knowing it's not just my photos but others with high quality photos are getting the same results.

I don't think they want any photos really. They have rejected a lot of my stuff that goes to SS. And in my opinion SS has a very high level of acceptance.

I've been at this better than 2 decades with photo sales. I know my blurs and focuses. I get blanket, full submission rejections, for blurred images. The images are tack sharp at 200%. Another submission I get shots taken with a GoPro that are accepted while shots taken on GH4 with a prime get rejected for noise. I can say with certainty that I haven't got a clue what they are looking at.
