Wondering....

I want to say first off... I'm really thinking that this web site is going to take off very well. I'm going to make it a point to send up some of my work.. and I hope that others alike will find them useful.

I was wondering if there was possibly a way that you can let people that view the video clip and show them what is being downloaded and how many times... Give people the sense that others are liking it.. and that it could help others to know what people want.. and maybe some of us can help in that department..

Maybe a Top ten downloads...

Good ideas, all of them... and in fact, they're all in the works. Pretty soon you'll be able to see the # of downloads and # of views on the clip pages, and we'll also have a top downloads section, as well as a list of the most searched-for keywords. We’re also working on a number of other features which we’ll be rolling out soon, so keep an eye out.

this is awesome what you are doing with the site i agree i would like some feed back on what to aim for to get footage bought and i was just wondering if you had a time frame that you were thinking about getting the new features like number of downloads on the site

Same here, but the approval time is way faster!
Viewing clips better.

Hi,

For logged in users:
Added "Number of sales" to clip page (page=view_item)
Added search option in "advanced search" for nbr of sales.

The first period we mainly targeted sellers, as there would be little or no point in making potential buyers come to a site with no clips. A short while ago we hit 1000 clips and we've now started with ads towards buyers as well.

Nbr of views are updated if user is below curator level and not the owner of the clip. It's no problem to make something more elegant than that.

MyPond / Financial lists your latest transactions.

You can also go to MyPond / Preferences and specify if you want an email update when you get money (as an artist or a referrer).

This would be a very good guideline to see what buyers are looking for.

or you can search for salegt:0
