4K Spam

Using 4K as a search keyword it looks like results have far more 1920x1080 than true 4K. This is not a good thing for buyers and honest 4k sellers. This holds true when sorted by most sales.

Those HD clips point to 4K clips. Would you search for a web size clip by typing "web size"?

The correct search term is:

The main problem is that some artists charge $5 for a 4K clip. What are they trying to prove?

I agree with the spam thing, needs to be addressed. I think people do search for 4k.

linesgt:2100

but the problem is the customers know about this "refine search"?

Some so called artists charge a small price indeed, but many of them charge too much for their flickering, unstable, over saturated time lapse shots and finally the customers decide on their purchases.

You are right.

No buyer should ever have to know how to search as you described. That is why simple keywords are all that should be needed. "4K" is a definitive and accurate way to search. 4K should never result in anything but 4K sized footage results.

Maybe they should make 4k a search checkbox and it uses the information from the clip, not the keywords

We have the 4K checkbox in our internal system to be added, but if you could also add this to our feature request section (and @SevArt's suggestion is good, too!) that would be great!
