hi greg,i changed the password and i can log in now,but my question is,because my old password didn't work anymore, does it mean that someone entered in my account and changed it or is pond5 that decided to reset a new password for all artists that could have been involved in suspicious login??

sebolla74 I don't think so. Maybe due to security reasons the system completely deleting all the passwords which are less than 8digits.

Hello all,
At this time you should have received an email explaining why your password may not be working, and I am happy to recap that information here for you.
Pond5 regularly monitors fraudulent or malicious behavior happening all over the internet. During the last few weeks there have been several reports of leaked user credentials (usernames and passwords) from other sites, not Pond5.com. We routinely monitor login activity on our site and during the last few days we observed an increase over normal activity.
When we reviewed this activity and considered the recent reports of other malicious behavior of attempts to access accounts, we decided to take the precautionary step of resetting a small number of users passwords to protect them against unauthorized account access. If you were part of this group, you would have received an email asking you to change your password. If you did not receive an email asking you to change your password, you may want to check your spam folder for it.
We value the safety and security of our artist accounts and we took swift action on the above as a precautionary measure.
If you are currently logged in, please log out and click the forgot password link under the password field on the log in form. This will allow you to change your password.
If you continue to have issues accessing your account, please contact customer service.
Best Regards,
Sam

I got the P5 email too, the only suspicious thing to me is the next email I got was from PayPal saying I had to verify my identity with them which has never happened before. Reason was because of Canadian Government regulations. Any other Canadians getting this too?

@SagarLahiri I'm using KeepassXS( password manager ) that's creates REALLY STRONG password, much more than 8 digits, but I had to changed it too
It's a quite efficient and free solution btw
