I am so glad to read your comments!!! :) First, please forgive my English, then... I contribute with other agencies and most of my images have been accepted... Pond 5 rejected almost all files.... Sincerely, I am not sure to carry on uploading, it seems a waste of time....Do you suggest to carry on? Actually I have 105 files approved (and something like 900 rejected!!)

It would help greatly if you could post here the link to a full port of another agency that has accepted all these media of yours to see what got rejected.Of course i might be asking too much of you,but i think this could help some of us dissect the logic behind the recent rejections (as reported by many) .Im still waiting for my curation to draw a conclusion although i dont think that my recent submission is big enough to yield any useful information.

gcrook, there is no logic. It's not worth wasting your time on this. Based on my experience I believe greta6.

I didnt say i dont believe him zanyzeys quite the contrary.I just thought that since he has a full port on other agencies and 900 got rejected here,it would be a nice example to see if there is a logic behind this, because it woould be easy to compare.
Not saying that one can draw accurate conclusions,if any.
Still 90% rejection must have some kind of logic behind it dont you think? It's too big a number to just reject.
Not saying that even if there was actually a logic i would agree.

Disregard all comments i just noticed that greta6 was talking about photos and not video. So i have no idea how photo curation works at pond5 but im hearing it may be even worse than (recent) video curation.

Yes it's photo curation that is highly flawed. Video curation is very good.

Rejection reason: Unfortunately, we feel that this footage is too shaky and unstable for us to accept.
Sold on other agencies

There is no logic of photo rejection at all. I got 2/3 rejected because of over-saturation. In fact 1/3 accepted were shot the same way and same filter effect. Obviously they don't know what they are talking about. Never mind..Move on..
BTW: Most of photo nowadays are heavily saturated with strong filter and effect, it is the trend. But they still follow the old-fashioned way of curation. TV Advertisement is using iPhone vertical photo on TV ad. (Smart auto, if I remember correctly).

Just a thing on "overprocessed photos" (and videos): I talked 2 days ago with a junior producer, who in fact stated that she prefers "unprocessed" pics and vids, because this leaves more freedom for own processing. It could be problematic if one tries to assemble videos or slideshows by stock material that differs too much in "look", so that might be a reason against strongly processed pictures and video.
I'm no video/photo guy, and I'm sure there are plenty enough good reasons for processed items, I just thought I'll add this to the disussion, but maybe it's obvious anyway. ;)

That is a good point, and a video curator rejected my strong filtered video base exactly on this reason. Just leave it to the customer to do the job.
My point is, because of most of the photo and video are unprocessed, that is why processed photo and video may have a chance to stand out from the crowded videos. Now P5 offer artists to submit 2 versions of video if you prefer to.
Just my 2 cents.
