Yes, it is quite a good deal when it is really flying without problem.
I don't expect this is better than the X3 or Osmo, same.
If I fly this, I am not going to fly this drone in the night, the most will be in magic hour.

Yep ,,,, drug smugglers feel the same. That Yuneec was used last week here to smuggle drugs and Cell Phones into a prison. It has been used in other US prisons too. Yuneec is Unique ! http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/765190/drones-used-in-smuggling-drugs-into-prisons

I wrote to Autel inquiring about the technical specs of the 4k camera in the X-Star premium drone. The range of the drone is 1.2 miles.

They say that Yuneec has a top flying altitude of 8,000 feet over sea level. So if you live at 8,000 ft over sea level the drone will not take off. I guess you have to fly it manually with the GPS turned off.

looks cool, except the video seems to be the exact same codec from the P3 Pro. Disappointing.

nice additions but yes still the same crappy codec therefore it's still just a toy for big boys. Is it that hard to implement something more useful to pros like ProRes422, AvidDNxHD/R, Cineform, or RAW?

In these small drones the camera is the same as a gopro.
