BLACKMAGIC POCKET CINEMA CAMERA

I'm sure someone is in the process of designing a hood or loup for it. I have one for my Canons that I hold up against the screen to help some.

For me I plan on using it as a better quality GoPro, have to be very careful on dust or moisture since there is little to no protection. All of the connector ports are completely exposed with no covers.

Just uploaded some clips from a shopping mall. Good controlled lighting, kinda like a studio. I do like the sharpness of the footage.

So far I've sold three BMC Pocket clips so still have to sell a few more to pay for it ;). Patience Grasshopper ....

Use the Pocket inside the 21,000 seat LDS conference center before the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. Fairly dark using ISO of 800 with 20mm lens. I had to use Neat Video for noise control. All in all after noise removal good sharp footage.

Don,

Were you using a tripod on those shots? I wouldn't have thought they would allow tripods in the conference center.

No tripod, we were seated in the front row on the balcony so I could use the bar to balance the camera on. I was told that no tripod and no filming after the program started but I could get all the before and after shots I wanted so all I got was before and after. I also used a little Adobe warp stabilizer on a couple of them to smooth the handheld movement. Great program with both world-renowned soprano Deborah Voigt and acclaimed British actor John Rhys-Davies participating with the choir.

Yup, sold a Pocket clip here at P5. Starting to pay for part of the camera.
