I suppose the GH4 could well go over 1600 if the base is 800 - all will be revealed in April or is it May.

I have read that the GH4 is NOW SHIPPING !!! So those who are buying the first units, identify all the bugs, so by August when I buy mine they are all fix. ;-)

Mine arrives on Monday. Probably a step learning curve ahead due to only having experience with camcorders.

¿¿¿GH5??? GH4 obsolete from the start. LOL. But looking at how fast the GH3 was replaced maybe the GH5 will be in the market by next April.

But it's only 16.05 MP compared to the Sony RX10 which has 20 MP and can shoot pretty much the same video quality except slow motion (which can be done in post production) and 4K (which isn't essential for microstock) I have been pondering myself but the body alone is £1300 and almost as much again for a great lens. The Sony is around £750 and you get a Zeis lens built in that zooms from 24-200mm. Yes, more features on the GH4 but is it really worth that much more ? Microstock is still selling good video footage on the basis of the subject matter and not if it's 4K or not. Think about the time it will take to upload 4K, the drive space and then the fact that you will be chasing the next jump up to 5K or whatever. If you want to go TV quality or movie then fair enough.
