I've read on several sites that the low-light performance is very poor and the audio options are also very poor.
I'm thinking this replaces the Point & Shoot in the glove-box of my car (I have a Canon PowerShot now) and will work as a great second angle camera for outdoor shooting with my GH4 rather than getting a GH3 for a second camera.

I'm not convince that the FZ1000 is the way to go for 4k stock. Maybe as an "emergency" camera or "B" camera to the GH4. I'm sticking to the GH4, I wish the GH4 could do 4k @ 60p.

Which card are you using for GH4?
http://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xtranscend+SDXC+U3&_nkw=transcend+SDXC+U3&_sacat=0&_from=R40
There are 2 cards there, one read 95mb Write 60mb, other is quicker 95mb write 85mb ?

I bought an Integral Ultima (90/60 MB/s) in the store, but I'm going to order exactly the card that you mentioned. The 60 MB/s write should work fine. It's the same write speed I have now, and it exceeds the Panasonic cards that are coming out soon (and seem to write at 45 MB/s).

How can you read on several sites that the low-light performance is very poor and the audio options are also very poor, as the camera isn't available on the market?
I think other manufacturers will also offer soon 4k cameras with acceptable prices, so it must not be a shame to buy this FZ1000 instead the GH4. Maybe before the FZ1000 is available for public we hear of another 4k camera which will be available soon. ;)
I usually would prefer a camcorder than a DSLR. Have too bad remembers with extrem minimum dirtying at the sensor which destroyed a complete video production of an airshow. So i never use my DSLR for video against the sky!

From sites that have had access to the camera at shows and who have interviewed Panasonic engineers.
And I don't think it's a GH4 replacement, but I think it will be a good "second body" to the GH4 for different angles during the same shoot. Or even just taking stills while shooting video with the GH4.

Stefan,
Of course you can't compare GH4 low light with FZ1000, the chip size is different, it is just a different camera for different audience/customer.
If there is no crop effect for video (25-400mm instead of 37-400mm), then FZ1000 is really a good choice to start with-- Usable range of lenses and compact.
There will be no perfect solution for every one, if so all camera producers will fold-up at once..
### This morning GH4 can be delivered in 1-2 days, now in 2 weeks. It seems lot of delay or back-order.

Interesting review of FZ1000, it crop to 37mm wide in video mode (see at 9 minutes). Low light is bad too. Bad :(
