I don't have a 4K monitor.

I shot timelapses on my GH3 in PHOTO mode, not VIDEO mode. You get sequential JPGs that you put into your editor to export a Quicktime.

Works quite well. I used that mode for this timelapse:

I assume you mean for RAW for photos. Yes, there's a RAW option. I don't really do photos, so I generally just stick to the largest JPEG setting.

My GH4 has arrived battery on charge, great first impressions so far, have the 12-35 f2.8 mounted on it and it's very compact and light.
