* 1080 @ 60p
* Clean ISO up to 1600 (better than Canon, compares well to Nikon)
* Does not use line-skipping, so no moire
* 1080p HDMI out while recording
* Native 24p mode for filmmakers
* Faster AF while shooting video than Nikon
* $900 for body only and $1100 for 14mm-44mm Kit

A lot of loyal Canon users are saying this is the best DSLR for shooting video.... interesting.

I was looking at this camera but was disappointed to learn that it does not offers 1080p at 30 fps; only at 24fps just like the Nikon. At 60 frames per second it offers 1080i and 720p. It is still unclear if 1080i @ 60fps, 1080p @ 24 fps and 720p @ 60fps are offered at 24mbs instead of 17mbs. The only real advantage I see over the T2i or 60D is the new fast auto-focus in video recording mode. The GH13 cult is awaiting to see if Tester 13 can hack the code.

It is also unknown if the HDMI real time video is uncompressed High Quality. This will make it possible to attach a nanoflash unit to record at 100mbs.

8k! Thats Awesome!

I may be making a lot of extra money soon (hopefully) for some projects. If I do I will probably get the GH1 for greenscreen use, I found a way to get near perfect greenscreen with the 5d using clip black/white in keylight, but with Gh1 footage it is soooo easy. The 5d is the king of low light still.

Gh1 is amazing when its hacked, I don't see an incredible advantage in getting a g2.

@canadafirst:
Can I ask 2 stupid questions?
- If you sold 5 minutes for $8,000 why are your bear clips in P5 $10 for 30 seconds or equivalnet to $100 for for 5 minutes?
- You have an interesting store front. Is it easy to customize and easy to use?
