Footage on 2 episodes of Ancient Aliens

Our footage of the spring equinox at Chichen Itza was shown on the television series "Ancient Aliens" on History Channel 2. Program titles were "Mayan Conspiracy" and "Doomsday Prophecies"

I did a hand capture, time lapse of the spring equinox at Chichen Itza last year. I had left my intervalometer back at the hotel so had to shoot it all by hand. A really difficult shoot, but was able to capture the full rise of all 7 diamonds and no cloud cover. Total shoot time was over 1 hour, shot every 5 seconds. I'm getting too old to do this kind of stuff. :-)

Folks at Prometheus gave us full name credit on both episodes.

I know it isn't smooth, but that comes from me having to shoot while actually holding the camera for an hour straight. It has actually sold pretty well in the past year.

What are the seven diamonds?

The sunlight that appears as triangles on the side of the steps from bottom to top.
