Anyone using Vegas Platinum 8 under Windows 7?

I'm looking to upgrade my XP desktop for a new, much more powerful one. Can anyone confirm that Vegas Platinum 8 runs under Windows 7, please?

I'd prefer to buy a new editing package at the same time as I have found VP8 to be so unstable and buggy, but that will have to wait.
