Hey that's cool Rudi.
I've built the same one back in 2010 but it's now motorized with a stepper motor and Arduino. This gives a repeatable motion control system. Finally it has now also super smooth ramping (that was not included when I shot the video therefore the wiggle after hard stops). Please don't ask about selling these because I don't do it. This was a DIY project for my personal use. But the original plans can be found in some forums. Just google for dolly skater plans. The schematic and arduino code can be downloaded from my blog for free of course. Just check the sections in 2011 and 2010. I've also built a timelapse unit for it.
