A similar thing happened when I was shooting for Getty. We would invest time, talent and funds to produce quality imagery. Sometimes $1500-$3500 for scenarios. Then they did a deal with MTV that in the end, paid $1.58 for footage that PREVIOUSLY THE YEAR BEFORE sold for $500-$1000. I was told this was a deal for their largest clients who purchased quantity.

One of my hospital est shots sold for $199, netting me $119, which is all fine EXCEPT SOME BRILLIANT MARKETING TYPE AT POND

"Similar results starting at $25" Now why would anyone want to pay 8 times as much if THEY THOUGHT there were quality
clips for $25. Dumb. No worse than dumb. I am also sending this up the food chain. Cant wait for an answer.
