How long does it take?

How long does it take the curator to approve footage?

Hey, I'm new to Pond5, but here's my experience so far. My first batch of (56) video's was uploaded and approved within a few days. Now I've uploaded another set of videos and photos over the last10 days and so far, nothing has been approved. I am wondering how long it will take and if I should contact them?

I am on the same boat with you, joined a week ago or so, uploaded my photographs, but so far it doesn't seem that anybody has done any reviewing.

I joined POND5 about two weeks ago and upload seven photos for review...They are still in review. It would be great if POND5 would provide guidance on this matter, perhaps a Quick-Start Guide that outlines a flowchart of activities and/or expectations for new contributors. Honestly, I was using the "Force" throughout the entire process of onboarding as a contributor and uploading photos.

It seems to take a little longer these days. Before COVID-19 it was about 3 days. Now it about 10 days.

Thanks for writing in! We've had a surge in new contributors recently, as well as a large number of people uploading content due to being quarantined, so review times are a little slower than usual. Rest assured, our Curators are going through everything as quickly and carefully as they can. It can take from 4-10 days to get items online currently.

In the case that your uploads take longer than 2 weeks to get online, please let us know. Otherwise the curators will eventually get to your files!

If you have more files you'd like to submit, please feel free to continue uploading to your portfolio, and we promise we'll get to them as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience while we manage the large influx of content.
