Hi.
I have written and released some music that can be found on Spotify etc.
Can I post these on Pond5 if anyone wants to use these in their media productions? I have gone through the forum but can not find anything about this.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, absolutely - if you control all the rights to the music (which you will if you are the writer and haven't signed away any rights to publishing companies etc) then you can happily license it here at Pond5.

Good luck!

I think this is a problem for music that is also distributed on youtube through their content ID. I use Distrokid for my band's music and I have my tracks in youtube's content ID system. I think this would prevent someone who purchases your music from using it for yuotube, which is a BIG problem.

I was interested in this same thing. I have probably 40 tracks on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, etc. I was hoping to put some of those tracks up here. The YouTube thing is interesting. I'm wondering if there is a way around that or not. Again, it's our music, we should be able to license it to whoever we want.

You should be able to remove Youtube Music as an option when using Distrokid to make sure they don't use Content ID. If not, you can always use something like Songtradr for your personal music.
