sorting associated clips

I have been seeing the associated clips sort differently for different clips. I am not sure if it has been changed recently, but I have seen clips sort differently at different times.
for one clip, I see the NTSC above PAL, and another PAL might be listed above NTSC.
and then I checked yesterday and the values were reversed.

in the above example, I see NTSC above PAL, even though it is a lower resolution. and in the past I have seen the 1280x960 size below 1280x720.
the sorting should probably be done by the width * height. it is probably being done by width only, which is causing it to sort randomly.

It's worse. Sometimes an associated clip will not show up in search results even if you tailored the search string to target it. I wrote P5 about it requesting to dissociate the clips and got no response. Other people reported the same bug.
