Pixelated Banner on Storefront

Does anyone else have the issue of not being able to upload a high-resolution image as a banner to your storefront?
I've tried several methods but every time I upload it under the right specs I can count the pixels on my uploaded banner! I've got a feeling Pond5 downgrades the image even further. (The images I've tried are a good resolution, even in the right format)
A golden tip?

Yes the same thing for me, and it looks like others are like that too. I ended up just settling for plain, solid colours but perhaps Pond5 have a solution. You could try asking them at support@pond5.com. I hope you find a way!
