Editorial clips

How do I submit editorial clips? Can't find anything to mark them editorial.

The curator determines whether a clip is Editorial or Commercial. Just tag and submit.

Pond5 tells us under "Tagging and Pricing Your Files", "Adding Titles" to - "Then scroll down to “Curator Notes” and leave a note for the curator indicating that the clip should be marked Editorial Use Only."

I've never done it however.

Yeah you don't get to decide, they do that, you upload, at the titles and keywords and they put it in the editorial or commercial category for you. That's probably the only thing I still like about this place.

Newsmarket, you and me both buddy! I can't begin to add up the rejects for Editorial Designation rejections elsewhere.. ok it usually only happens on Shutterstock and Bigstock, makes sense as Shutterstock is the parent company of Bigstock. The fact that Pond does this is a HUGE plus!! @PCDMedia I have never left a curator note either. Just price and submit.

@madvideos, Yeah Pond5 has always been #1 for me and for editorial and editorial sells, I leave the fine art to those with better equipment and skills but late August into the fall selling season sales ended for me and I kept hoping sales would happen as it's the selling season and here we are, December 3 and not a single sale. and even if 3 sales came in one night that won't save me from bankruptcy at this point.

And now of course I get into that mindset of not even wanting to shoot more content because it might in fact be over for good here and I should really be spending the time finding other work. Tonight was no exception, no sales, nothing.

Now there was a Google core update in November, that could be good or bad for people and businesses, not sure if that had any effect but when I search for content via Google, Pond doesn't come up #1 that often, it's usually that one notorious free site.

just write editorial text format on your video description. usually wrote ( City name, Country Name - date/month/year : your video description).
