Which video camera to get?

There's nothing missing in this thread. That triggertrap is neat may just buy one.

@cinecameratv I'll stick to the statement I made earlier about time lapse from most cameras on the market today. Those that can do single frame interval recording cost allot more then the Canon XF100. One can time lapse any camcorder footage in post but every camcorder can record single frame no matter what interval there set at.

Timelapse isn't the most important thing and I know it can be done on a DSLR I just don't want to for a few reasons. The amount of shots means a lot of wear on the camera, the batteries get used up quickly, it's more work in post.
For me image quality is the most important thing like the lens, codec, mbps, etc..

@jason, I think Don was referencing the post that one guy posted about panasonic being the only camera offering the time lapse feature.

I have the Triggertrap, Works pretty good. I'm not that into timelapse but the features are cool.
By the way, they have a 10% off deal until the 15th details are on their facebook page.

I have the Triggertrap also. It works good after they sent me a new dongle. The first one would not communicate with the camera. They replaced it very fast and it works great now. If you do buy it make sure you get it through Amazon. That way the company guarantees it directly. If through a re-seller then you need to send it back to the re-seller.

I bought a $25 remote trigger gadget and it works like a charm for time lapses...I don't really have the patience for time lapse photography, but if I did, I'd have it at my disposal.
