Footage with or without audio?

When is audio important in a clip? SS did not accept clips with audio but P5 does. Is audio an important factor to sell a clip? I always uploaded clips without audio because I felt that I may be affecting an audio artist income. common way is removing all the audio unless it has something important (i.e. editorial footages). because even if someone speaks in the background it needs model release. If there is only background noise (no vocals or music) and if you didn't used a proper microphone to capture, editor probably gonna remove it anyway, or might simply decide not to buy it if its so windy etc...

Pond5 ask us not to include audio but there are times it's essential. For example, yesterday I filmed a town crier ringing her bell and giving a speech, and audio was an essential part of that. Most times though, don't include it.
By the way, you don't need a model release if someone speaks in the background, particularly for an editorial license.

I was looking at other carnivals and parades in Pond5 which is news/editorial material and they included audio. Pond5 still has for more than a decade the "includes audio" as default.
