Hi!
Would it be possible to create a column 'Website' in 'artists' page (in addition to 'Username', 'Real name' and 'Company' columns) if one is made public?

Hi!
On MyPage / Profile you have a Website: thing (bottom of the page) which does this already? Or do want something else?
Best regards,
Marcus

Hi, Markus!
Yes, there is a 'Website:' option on my page. But if I would like to find websites of other p5 users then I should open each user's page and check.
So, my proposal was to put links to public webpages into the summary 'artists' page available from the link in small blue font at the bottom of all pages:
... | ff search | artist resources | https://www.pond5.com/it/index.php?page=artists

Aha, ok. It is still morning in GMT+1. I didn't think anybody used that page; we added it so search engines (google etc) would have a good starting point to find all clips on pond5.
I've added a website column.
Best regards,
Marcus

Hi, Markus!
Very nice, but (may be) better to place the 'Web' column just after 'Username' because other columns ('Real name' and 'Company') are mostly empty and I needed a scale to find which 'Web' belongs to which 'Username'.
Would it be possible to put a hyperlink to all 'Web' addresses or you don't like this idea at all?

Hi, Markus!
Just excellent!
Because you did this so quickly I'll think what could be the next 'todo' task :)

Hmmm... The link as it is not rings all kinds of alarm bells with me. I was tought to make links meaningfull - a page full of "click here" or "click link" is not really informative ("site" isn't really better).
Would it be possible to use the address - or at least the domain - for the link's name?
Also, I think the link should open in a new window/tab. (target=_blank) You don't want to send the user away after all - just give them some extra information.

Ok, but I chop off all characters above the 40th just to be on the safe side. "site" is always 4 chars, which is the beauty of it.
Good idea, added a target.

Marcus
