Non descriptive return notice

Conclusion

So finally, after getting the two rejected videos deleted and the dupe alert cleared, I was able to reupload the videos and resubmit them is editorial, which thankfully were approved, and the third video (the one I didn’t yet resubmit at the time, so was still marked as returned), I resubmitted as editorial, which also thankfully was approved, so all three videos are now online

One of these videos (the model “Extinction” train, which happened to be one of the rejected videos), I still feel was erroneously returned (and later rejected) as editorial, so I just resubmitted the video as editorial in order to comply to their orders to get it approved, along with the following message to the curator

I have submitted the video as editorial to comply to the requirements, but I have to disagree with the assertion

* There are no people in the video, so there are no uncleared faces
*The video is silenced, so there are no uncleared voices or music in the clip
* There are no logos or trademarks attributed to a company, product or service

The video was just approved and is now online (less than an hour prior to writing this update), but there was no reply to my comment in the message, and the video was also posted as editorial (oh well, at least it’s online), so I’m not sure if the comment was just ignored or if they can’t make personalized replies

So here are the videos in question

There are people in the video obviously, so like I mentioned before, I can see an issue with “uncleared faces” there, and on second examination, there are what could be considered as logos (okay, they are logos) on the boxcars in the back (though I believe those companies would be far long defunct by now)

Okay, so it’s obviously a logo, and McDonald’s is still in business obviously, though are no longer using the Speedee name and likeness, and all “Classic” locations (which continued using the Speedee name and likeness) I believe have rebranded as standard McDonald’s locations, though I can still see how the logo can be uncleared

This one still puzzles me (this is the one that just got approved), I checked to see if, just maybe, there may be reflection on the glass, and if there were any people in that reflection that would bring up any “uncleared faces”, but I didn’t see anything, and like I said before, I muted the clips before uploading and didn’t add any music, so the clips are 100% silent, which brings us to logos and trademarks, which I don’t see any, but you be the judge, I still think they are hung up on the word “Extinction”, then again, like I said, the curator didn’t respond to the comment, so I don’t know

Something I find funny though, I saw a video here on P5 recently depicting a blizzard in NYC that showed a deli owner shoveling the front of his shop, with other pedestrians walking by, and in the clip, a van drives by, most pedestrians were facing away from the camera, so perhaps that was enough to get around “uncleared faces”, and the logo of the van was slightly obscured by snow, but it was still obvious it was a GMC logo

I thought “for sure this must be editorial” due to the obvious GMC logo at least, nope, it was commercial, so I thought “he must have gotten a release then, right?Nope, so it seems some things were overlooked or perhaps some favoritism going on, I don’t know

Here’s that video
