Breaking News Clips

Hello all, I am not new to Pond5 but I recently saw a testimonial from a contributor who relies on
breaking news clips for revenue. Curious how that would work with the approval processes not being immediate. The approval of my last batch was rather quick but in breaking news, you need to be first. Also, do news channels actively look for breaking news clips on Pond 5?

My two cents on breaking news, i had two drone shots of a house and a factory on fire, two drone shots on the first hour of the farmers protests. I sent an email to three news outlets. I got a reply within 30 seconds, sold the clips within a minute. By the time they are visible on here, they are no longer breaking news.

My breaking news clips all go to the news outlets!

Thanks @JDMediaProductions for the intel. I used to work in the news business, so I am aware of the fast-paced need for footage. Was just wondering if there was something I was missing when I saw that testimonial. Cheers and happy shooting.
