Collections of Music - Is this working properly?

Today I decided to analyze and revise my collections. They are all screwed up!! I created a "Holiday Music" collection recently with 10 tracks in it on Wed. Yet today, there are 429 items in this collection.
Why?
All of my collections seem to have more tracks than I originally put in them. This function does not seem to be working properly.
