Can someone tell me what are the most popular trends on here or what works best?

When I follow the trend, I get nothing as expected. I experiment with different genres and fusions and keep them media ready. Some tracks surprise me for selling and some tracks surprise me for not selling. Energetic stuff generally works, ambient and chill. And of course do what you can do best.
