Larry Jordan - thoughts about 4K

So ...... all that to say at the end that we have to create 4k content, it will be delivered via Internet and that Macs will do the job, you only need to give more importance to GPU speed and not to CPU speed.

I watched Larry at the BVE and felt at the time that his justification vindicated my decision not to go to 4k at the moment.

After listening to him, I am more convince that starting with the GH4 is a good way to start. FHD @ 200mbs in such a compact camera full of features is a knock-out plus having 4k if you need it.

Cinecameratv, that is the path I am going to take when my GH4 arrives. Unfortunately, I edit with Edius 5.51 which does not do 4k. However, at some point I will probably get some cheap 4k editing software so I can at least trim and white balance clips for upload to Pond5.
