Premiere CC, AE CC, PJPEG Render Gamma issue?

Scott, the softness, for me, in most cases, looks bad. Bitrate increases only seem to help if there is banding issue, and doesn't seem to affect motion at all (in renders, I'm talking, not camera).

It's moot anyway because since my Adobe re-install a few months ago I "lost" all traces of the Miraizon v1 and v2 that I paid for ... and I can't get it back as I don't have the source files and there's no support.

The latest update of AE (13.6) has (finally!) fixed this PJPEG render gamma issue.

Did premiere suffer from this same issue?

I don't know; Mizamook might.

@Mizamook If you paid for Miraizon v1 and v2 send them an email as they do have records and you can get your key code. Had to do that when my hard drive took a dump early this year and got codes for every program I lost some of which were a couple years old.

@jason - thanks - actually I did have a forum friend send me the install for v2, installed it (I keep records of my keys) and it was still soft, so I gave up on it. I'd like my money back, actually, but oh well.

@PictureLake - I've only recently started using PP CC, so have done no real tests. I had heard from others that PP CC was exhibiting this bad render issue, and I had no reason not to trust them, as they noted that the previous versions did not.

I'll do some tests tonight .... it would be kinda cool!

@Mizamook, just before sure you have the latest version installed (13.6), because that's where they fixed it. Then again, reading the Adobe AE forum board, it seems to be pretty buggy for some, so if you don't have it installed, you may not want to.

Thanks for the warning. Got involved with another project so I'll wait til the dust settles. If anyone has problems, it's me. I'm a walking chaos cloud.
