iPhone/iPod support

About 6 months back when my cell plan expired, I decided to get an iPhone and despite the high cost (for the phone and the service) I could NOT live without it.
I use the iPhone apps for Craigslist, Facebook, Twitter, eBay, Amazon, etc... on a daily basis. Not to mention the insane amounts of time I spend watching podcasts on it (I now let my wife drive everywhere).
I did some worth with a local TV station last week and I noticed that the "geeks" there also have iPhones and frequently use them during their work to help with a lot of tasks. They even set up a local web server to browse all their resources (clips, images, fonts, etc...) which I thought was very innovative.
I tried browsing Pond5 with two different browsers on my iPhone, but since it doesn't support Flash or Flash Video, I had no luck.
Since you require .MOV files as the delivery container, it seems to be that it might be worthwhile to create an iPhone compatible clip browser (iclips.pond5.com ?) which would allow buyers to search for clips with their iPhone.
Ultimate, creating a free iPhone app would probably be your best bet, but I don't know if you have a Mac for iPhone development or if you'd want to spend the time. Personally I think it would be worth it and would be a GREAT way to further promote Pond5.

I have the iTouch, I use it to show video and photos to potential clients in social settings. It's great for getting emails while traveling.
A Pond5 app would be great, as I could access all content on P5

Well if you make something i would make it for all the multimedia phones and not only for the iphone.
However the idea is nice, i think that doesnt have that big of a value. People cant download the clips to their iphone (size and conn speed) and when they are on their iphone they are probably not working in post so i think its hard to find some good matching clips to the project you are working on.

I use my iPhone a lot while I am waiting for stuff to render in After Effects or my 3D apps. I could probably use the browser on my computer, but I want to leave the system alone to its rendering task. I know that at the TV station, the MG artists there did the same thing.... used their iPhones to browse the net and run various apps.
